2016 Celebration of Faculty Excellence Ceremony
Over 250 faculty members, representing each department in the School of Medicine, were recognized at the 3rd Annual Celebration of Faculty Excellence Ceremony and Reception on December 1st. We recognized new senior promotions, highlighted excellence in teaching, research and clinical service by commending those that have been awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award, faculty inducted into the Millipub Club and Emory 1% awardees, and physicians and other healthcare professionals at the Emory Clinic, the VA and Grady who have received outstanding Press Ganey scores. We also recognized Hidden Gems as selected by their Chairs as well as faculty members who had received awards and honors on the regional, national or international level. The event was capped off by recognizing the Emory Medicine Mentoring Award nominees and the announcement of this year's two award recipients.
